The United States of America has completely changed its stance on drugs. Many states now have recreational marijuana use legal, the drug that was once considered to be responsible for; heroin addiction, impotence and insanity.
Yet the Australian Government refuses to even have a serious look at our policy towards drugs – even medicinal use of marijuana is out of the question. The politicians need to know that we want change.
- Through drug reform we can achieve the following: Take the power away from the cartels in South America and the gangsters that loiter on your street corner.
- Educate our children why they should not use drugs and the dangers involved. Give recreational users a safer, friendlier alternative than alcohol.
- Regulate recreational drugs (like we do alcohol and tobacco) and use the surplus cash to help addicts.
It is time to end the war on drugs and have peace. Together we will change the world!
